 What is E/e Mark
E/e Mark represents a sort of passport for Europe. Its intention is to allow the wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts which can be fitted and/or be used on wheeled vehicles and the conditions for granting type approval and their reciprocal recognition will be in pursuance of "ECE Regulation" or "EEC/EC Directive"。
The term "Wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts" shall include any wheeled vehicles, equipment and parts whose characteristics have a bearing on road safety, protection of the environment and energy saving。The number of E/e mark is depended on different members to issue the different certificate, such as the United Kingdom issues E11/e11 certificate。
Applicable Product of E/e Mark
Whole Vehicles - Two- or three- wheeled motor vehicles, twinned or otherwise, intended to travel on the road, and to the components for technical entities on such vehicles. Such as - Moped, motorcycle, car, bus and truck...etc。Wheel vehicle parts - Anti-theft, tire, brake, mirror, bulb & lamps, noise, seat belt, anchorages, speedometers, emissions...etc。
Wheel vehicle accessories- Helmet, child restraints, interior electrical accessories...etc。
